Re-MX exclusive for the 1980-1981 large crankshaft models!
Generator/ignition for Husquarna 1980 and 1981 that originally had the large Motoplat ignition; base plate 110mm diameter. This unit uses a 1.4kg weight rotor and is best suited for large displacement models. Comes with adapter plate to acommodate the wider 1980 cases. Heavier rotors are an available option. Engine case on 250 & 390 WR/OR IS 2080. Number on WR case is 2084 acording to the experts. These are found only on 1980-1981 models.
Magnet based generator with integrated solid state ignition, Light output 12V/100W DC. Ignition with own power supply from within the system. Replaces original Motoplat Magneto as well as all ignition parts. Does not require changes on crankcase. Kit includes a custom plate allowing it to work on these models.
Requires 40911 flywheel puller
