Complete ignition designed for the Kawasaki KX500 and KDX175, KDX250. This unit comes with 110mm diameter base plate and is a complete system as shown including external flywheel that weighs about the same (35 oz.) as the original. Excellent for direct replacement or when using the bike for woods ridiing or wanting the orignal low end torque. If you are going to race motocross and want a lighter weight rotor then consider the unit with a 24 oz flywheel. This option of 24 ounce flywheel is not a direct swap of just the flywheel. You are choosing one complete system or the other.

Comes wth DC regulator. DC offers the most light output and should be used if adding LED lights.

Fits models with 110mm base plate. If your plate is 108mm you'll need system 783979900 Note: No Vape system exists for KX and KDX models where stator is directly bolted to engine case.

The 86 KDX200 did great with the new VAPE system. It went on my bike with absolutely no modifications. Started first kick and pulled hard through very high RPM. The rotor weight was almost identical to stock, so the motor behaved like it had before (when the ignition was working!), which is perfect for me.
