Replaces stock alternator and is NOT a complete ignition system. We ended full ignition system because of kickback problems during starting. Updates your charging system to solid state with 12V/150W output. There is no need for changes to the engine casing. The system will charge a battery and run lights. Backing plate comes with an oil seal inserted.
