This unit can not be simply upgraded to the twin spark model.

Hi Dan, I just wanted to thank you for all of your time and effort helping me to get the ignition to work on the XR750, after I installed the coil/mod combo, the bike started with ease. We took the bike to the track Sunday and bike ran excellent. I was really impressed on how quick it started.
