Generator / electronic ignition for 2 stroke - KTM type 546, 457, 556 (with 110mm base / cut side (see photo), fitted LH side of engine) Check engine serial number.
Note: the 546 has also been delivered with a 90mm base! For this we offer system 7331799.
Replaces stock Motoplat or SEM alternator (also ignition only SEM)
Replacement magneto. Light output:
DC System 12V/100W DC - will charge a battery, operate flasher relay, and overall greater light output including supporting LED systems.
AC System 12V/70W AC - AC will not charge a battery nor will it support some LED installations.
Replaces stock ignition system (including ignition coil and regulator/rectifier). There is no need for changes on engine casing. The system is technically capable to run without battery.
Advantages over the stock system:
Complete system includes Rotor/Flywheel, Stator, Coil-CDI, AC or DC Regulator, Adaptor mounting plate, Spark plug cap, and mounting hardware. Choose AC or DC system from the options before adding to the cart.
